Aterahme is a Freelance Actress, Writer, Model, Speaker, and Activist currently living in Atlanta.
​
Originally from New York, she grew up in a large family on a small island called Shelter Island. Raised by her mother, her father is an ex-pat who made his home in Africa.
​
Aterahme is a first-generation graduate. With a B.F.A. Degree in Acting and a minor in Creative Writing from Fredonia State University.
While receiving a higher education she expanded her studies in many areas that reflected her passions in life; art & history, African American studies, global environmental issues, and writing for social change.
​
When Aterahme became a Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority member while in college, she found a love for service, held many leadership positions, regularly participated in community service opportunities, and planned philanthropic events. Post-grad, she went on to compete in both the Miss New York USA as a State Finalist and Miss Long Island Pageants, the latter of which she placed 3rd Runner Up, on a platform of women empowerment and social justice.

A part of her heart and blood is connected to the Americas and the Mother Land, this has been a massive compass in her life. Aterahme aspires to create her own empowerment and self-care business Warrior Queen EMPR. (Empire/Empowerment) for black women to overcome adversity, celebrate their diversity, and embrace cultural & spiritual roots.
